Working for Linkup TV as a Online Blogger, i was asked to create two images for their feature article which will be live on the website; this weekend. The images shows the one to watch artists ready to hit in the music industry next year. I have produced the images in Adobe Photoshop because my task was to create a college out of the images i was given. My aim for this task, was to portray a crafty and gimey look at the same time. The images was created on a normal photoshop size document. I did use Photoshop effects on the images, to create a Urban look.
This blog is all about my inspiration! All graphics, music and writing!

BLOGBOOK BILLBOARD
1ST VERSION |
A print screen example of the blog post |
I have produced a billboard for Blogbook to advertise the blog. This billboard has been designed as an connective system using typography. The arrows link to the following words. Gallery, design agencies and exhibitions to show they belong to http://blogbook.blogspot.com.
I have used Adobe Illustrator because its a useful software for producing billboards. The reason why i haven't used the same line paper for the background, is because I wanted to use the billboard as post. The post background and typography are both the same.
FINAL BLOG: BLOGBOOK
RESEARCH FOR THE GENERATION Y PROJECT- (T-SHIRT & BLOG PRINTS)
GENERATION Y- BLOGBOOK.COM- (IMPROVED) - T-SHIRT & BLOG PRINTS
I have scanned a drawn image of a paintbrush, then drawn over the image in Adobe Illustrator. This is the final outcome. |
I used Adobe Illustrator to design the 'Blogbook' title. This is the first try out. |
I have decided to apply the colour red onto the bottom half of the title. Blue is only applied onto the top section of the title. |
Lastly, i have changed the computer to a paintbrush. |
To insert the image of the paintbrush into Adobe Illustrator; i have clicked onto file menu using the mouse. Within, the file menu I scroll down to select place. |
Then I have to send the image to the back, of the title. |
GENERATION Y- BLOGBOOK.COM - (IMPROVED) - DESIGNING THE T-SHIRT
This project is about the new young generation. I have chosen to design a blog which is specially made for creative young people; who like to make a conversation about anything creative. This blog delivers information on design agencies, work experience or design shops. The aim of my project is to develop Blogbook.com as a creative business.
My t-shirt idea was to print the welcome page at the back of the t-shirt. The company logo is printed on the front of the T-shirt. So the t-shirt identifies the company, the prints on both sides of the t-shirt has obtained creaks to give a creative approach.
The prints are printed on a light green t-shirt to complete the creative look, plus there is a little green in the blog.
The images below, show a step to step method of how the prints where located onto the t-shirt.

FASHION SHOW POSTER 09
Before i started Central St Martins, i took part in a fashion show. This fashion show was organised by myself and among other art students at Newvic College.
My role was to design promotional resources. I did design a Newvic Fashion Show poster, however i worked with a team of people.
The poster was designed in Adobe Illustrator. We decided to use illustrations for the poster, the illustrations are images of threads, garments and other fashion resources.
The fashion Show took place at Stratford Circus.
