HINTS & TIPS PROJECT IMPROVED: (SHORT SCARF)

From the previous scarf i've used the pattern shape halfway, to make a short scarf.

Make slits at the end of your material. This technique turns the material more into a scarf.

Cut any material to make your first ruffle.

To make the first ruffle, gather the material together while sewing.

To make the second ruffle, cut another piece of material and use the same method (shown above).

Sew the first ruffle onto your scarf.

Now you can sew the second ruffle onto your scarf.

Ive decided to make a broach using an old accessory, adding a pin at the end. The broach is used to support the scarf, when it's worn.

This is what the scarf looks like now.

The way the accessory was applied onto the scarf didn't work, and it doesn't look nice. So I have decided to sew it on instead. However i still have applied the pin onto the accessory.

The final outcome!
