TYPOGRAPHY BRIEF- MAGAZINE SPREAD PAGES DRAFTS AND FINAL COPY! !

The opening of the cover story- I went for Dark Brown and Black for the colour of the typeface so the type will contrast with the background image. The typeface used was Times Roman (capital letters 48pt and Carbon Block 48pt so the title catches reader's eye.

2nd Magazine Spread- When designing the magazine pages for the first time, i used typeface Airel in font size 6pt (Bold and Dark Brown) and align right. So the text goes towards the spine of the magazine and image.

My first two page spread- I have decided to use a image which shows a person carving out, type onto a wall in public. The type i have used is Carbon Block in font size 6pt(Dark Brown) for the quotation, so the quote stands out from the image.

Final page- Instead of doing a double page spread, i decided to produce a single page. Because the subject matter titled 'Typography on the streets' is not really a full on story. This cover story is very simple and strightforward.  The typeface used for the body of the magazine is Airel 10pt (Dark Brown) and the quotation was done in Carbon Block 48pt (Dark Brown).
Final:

Changes made while designing the magazine pages:
i changed the typeface used for codes. So the typeface used before was Airel 6pt bold to Times Roman (Red and Green). Red and Green was chosen so the magazine pages ties in with the same look as the front cover.
